Husco Chairman Gus Ramirez, Keynote Speaker at Milwaukee Business Journal Power Breakfast
Gus Ramirez, Chairman of Husco and President of the Ramirez Family Foundation, alongside Peter Feigin, Milwaukee Bucks President, were the keynote speakers at the Milwaukee Business Journal’s Power Breakfast on November 16, 2023. The event was held in celebration of the Business Journal’s 40th anniversary and the content focused on the challenges and opportunities facing southeastern Wisconsin.
Ramirez addressed the need to improve educational opportunities in the area to help attract new residents and bulk up the future workforce.
“The biggest problem we have in growing Milwaukee is we don’t have enough human resources,” said Ramirez. “We don’t have enough people to fill the jobs in Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin. The only place we can go to for a large number of human resource is the school system.”
