The Journey

The road to Pune started in 1996 when I first visited China and recognized it as one of the growth engines which would provide long term growth for the world economy and our industry. A few years later we built a new modern manufacturing facility near Shanghai which helped us to successfully penetrate the rapidly growing China market. Next year, we plan to triple the size of this facility. Recognizing the opportunity in India took a few additional years, but India has also become even more important to our long term plans.
