HUSCO Named to Ford Preferred-Suppliers List
HUSCO Automotive, based in Whitewater, WI, was recently added to Ford Motor Companys Aligned Business Framework (ABF), a distinction currently shared by only 78 production suppliers across the globe.
We are excited to become a Ford Preferred Supplier, as it’s an acknowledgement of the HUSCO teams dedication to delivering high value products with world-class quality to one of our most important global customers. HUSCOs CEO Austin Ramirez explains Even more exciting are the new products we are launching with Ford that will play a major role in reducing emissions, and making a positive impact on the environment.
Ford created the ABF program in 2005 to recognize the top world-wide suppliers that continuously exceed Fords technology, cost and quality benchmarks. Being named to the list is recognition that the company is considered a key partner in Fords future successes. As an ABF supplier, HUSCO receives enhanced access to new business and participates earlier in new product development programs with Ford.
This is really just the first step for us, we see huge potential for continued growth with Ford and in the automotive space, especially by leveraging HUSCO technology to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions, said Todd Zakreski, President of HUSCO Automotive.
Since 1999, HUSCO has been expanding its presence in the automotive component space, focusing on efficiency-enhancing powertrain components. The company has developed a suite of engine and transmission technologies that increase miles per gallon including components used in variable valve timing, variable oil pumps, cylinder deactivation and other innovative applications.
