VIP Donors Support St. Augustine Preparatory Academy
Gus Ramirez, the Executive Chairman of HUSCO International and founder of St. Augustine Preparatory Academy, presided over a fund raiser with Milwaukee-area business VIP’s, executives and community leaders to help raise money for the school recently built on Milwaukee’s South side.
The Gala was hosted at St. Augustine Prep October 10th. The night also featured tours of the new facility whose goal is to provide high-quality faith-based education to historically under-served communities in Milwaukee.
During the event, over 700 business and community leader raised over $600,000 to fund the $2,033 per year gap between Wisconsin voucher funding and student cost.
When the first phase of the school is completed, the Ramirez family plans to continue the school’s growth with a second phase that would increase enrollment to 3,000 students. To read more about this article, please visit the Milwaukee BizJournal.
