Gus Ramirez Inducted to Wisconsin Business Hall of Fame
After being recognized as Wisconsin Business Leader of the year in 2016, on May 1st Agustin “Gus” Ramirez was inducted into the Junior Achievement Wisconsin Business hall of Fame™. The Hall of Fame serves to recognize and honor the life time professional accomplishments of individuals who have made a generational impact on the State’s business landscape and community, as well as serving as a positive role model for the Wisconsin’s youth.
Gus joins some of Wisconsin’s most famous names of industry including RW Baird of RW Baird and Company; Harry and Lynne Bradley of the Allen-Bradley Company; and Richard Burke of Trek Bicycle. Ramirez was chosen for his commitment to business excellence, community leadership and philanthropic activities involving education.
Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, an affiliate of Junior Achievement USA, continues to be one of the most successful chapters in the nation. The organization is committed to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, Junior Achievement provides in-school and after-school programs for students that focus on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness. Junior Achievement’s goal is to teach these concepts through experiential learning and allowing young people to put their new knowledge and skills into practice.
