United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Honors HUSCO CEO
Austin Ramirez, CEO of HUSCO International, was selected by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) to be one of this year’s Hispanic Business Enterprise (HBE) honorees. The USHCC is America’s largest organization that promotes and advocates for the growth and development of Hispanic owned firms.
HUSCO’s growth has been generated through the development of innovative hydraulic and electro-hydraulic devices use in mobile equipment. The organization operates in two main markets: automotive and off-highway.
In the video, watch Gus Ramirez, chairman of HUSCO International and Todd Zakreski, President of HUSCO automotive, talk about Austin’s role, and how his skills have made HUSCO the company that is today.
Austin also mentions with excitement the launch of St. Augustine Preparatory Academy. The new school, located in Southern Milwaukee-area, is educating 600 students this year. 85% of the school’s students are Hispanic. The main focus is to provide high-quality, faith-based education for the area’s under-served children with the goal of expansion to serve 3,000 students in the next 10 years.
