HUSCO Automotive Earns Ford Quality Award

On July 10, 2017, Ford Motor Company’s Chihuahua Engine Plant (ChEP) recognized HUSCO Automotive as one of “ChEP 100 Best Managed Companies with Outstanding Quality” for its performance in 2016 as a leading supplier of electro-hydraulic control valves fundamental to the efficiency of its automotive powertrains.

HUSCO’s Whitewater, WI location, one of the state’s most advanced manufacturing facilities, was recognized for its perfect quality across the prior year while supplying components to Ford’s Chihuahua, Mexico  location. With HUSCO’s global commitment to best in class performance in quality, reliability, material management, engineering support and cost, combined with 100% on-time delivery, earned its recognition as one of ChEP 100 Best Managed Companies.

Ford’s Chihauhua Engine plant produces engines for a variety of vehicles including the Ford Super Duty trucks and Ford Focus and Fiesta cars. HUSCO produces cam-phasing valves for the ChEP engines. These components are integral in helping Ford produce near hybrid level fuel efficiency and emissions reductions from conventional internal combustion engines alone.
